NICE BISCUIT GOODBYE LUYA

Aussie sextet Nice Biscuit make the kind of music you want to get to lost to. With new their trippy new single arriving just ahead of their first ever UK tour, which starts tomorrow, 'Goodbye Luya' is a substantial sonic exploration of psychedelia. Touching on everything from the darkness-steeped alt-folk of Mazzy Star to the bright, jangly tones of The Byrds, washy guitars drone lethargically on top of a sway-inducing bass line and ambient percussion. Given dynamics by a euphoric chorus and the occasional harmonica solo, the 7-minute epic is easily the band's most immersive cut to date. Nice Biscuit will perform at Portsmouth Psych Fest tomorrow (4th of May) alongside an incredible line up featuring TMR favourites Yak, Snapped Ankles, Sweaty Palms, Los Bitchos, Black Country, New Road and loads more.
